Classes Offered Year-Round
and Worldwide

GIA has year-round registration with classes starting almost every month – so apply today and mark your calendar. When you study at GIA’s World Headquarters and Robert Mouawad Campus in Carlsbad, California, or at any of GIA’s locations around the world, you can acquire the skills and recognition of a professional in as little as six months. Benefit from limited class size and personal attention, as you develop the practical, hands-on skills of a true gem and jewelry professional.

GIA World Headquarters and Robert Mouawad Campus

At GIA’s Robert Mouawad Campus, you have access to some of the industry’s most respected gem and jewelry authorities and the widest curriculum offered at any GIA campus. You have the opportunity to create your own schedule and your own destiny. In just two years, you can earn every diploma GIA offers and earn a distinction that’s admired by many, but achieved by few. Gemology. Jewelry Business Management. Design. Bench work. Learn how to succeed in every aspect of the jewelry industry.

 Feeling at Home on Campus

As soon as you enroll, you’ll receive a Welcome Packet that will help you organize your life inside and outside GIA. And what that orientation package doesn’t answer, a GIA Student Services advisor will. Your advisor can assist with everything from the biggest questions to the smallest details. Dedicated to ensuring your experience is as pleasant and productive as possible, Student Services advisors can help you find a doctor, a bank, an apartment – even the best vanilla latte in town.

When you’re on campus, but out of class, you can participate in a variety of year-round social activities. GIA also organizes guest lectures and on campus presentations by some of today’s most prominent industry professionals. Speakers have included Gabi Tolkowsky, Tom Chatham, Martin Rapaport, Erica Courtney, and more. All students and graduates are invited and encouraged to attend.
