Tucson 2004 dance party 9Several GIA Alumni Association chapters received recognition for their commitment to the Institute and its Alumni Association at the Industry Awards ceremony in Tucson. GIA President William E. Boyajian (far right) and Alumni Manager Rose McKenna (far left) handed out the awards. Recipients included Dee Dee Robinson (from left), Suzanne Martinez and Starla Turner, all from the California-Golden Gate Chapter, Ikuo Sato accepting for the Nippon Gem Society-Japan, Bob Trapp, Fran Greder accepting for the New York-Manhattan Chapter, Richard Drucker, Fred Ward accepting for the Washington D.C. Chapter and Jon Phillips.
