GIA, Cal State San Marcos Libraries Join Forces
Volume 16-Issue 3-Summer 2007

By Emily Stegman

The libraries of GIA and the California State University of San Marcos (CSUSM) have agreed to trade borrowing privileges.

GIA's Richard T. Liddicoat Gemological Library and Information Center will loan materials to non-GIA students and staff for the first time. In return, GIA students and faculty will have access to CSUSM's Library of more than 260,000 books and sound, film and video recordings.

The GIA Library is also providing the CSUSM Library with a subscription to Gems & Gemology, GIA's quarterly professional journal, back issues of the publication from 1981 to date, and GIA Museum exhibition catalogs as they become available.
