Dr. Andrea Turcato was born in Bassano del Grappa and lives there today. Dr. Turcato has a master’s in foreign languages—English, French and German—and has a master’s in foreign trade. After a short period of teaching, Dr. Turcato entered the trade show business while working at a foreign trade office of a trade fair organization. He then became the export manager of a gift items factory and later, the executive director of a consortium of exporters of gift items.

In 1981, Dr. Turcato joined the Vicenza Trade Fair Board as manager of the marketing and promotions department.

In 1989, he was appointed as the vice executive director of the Vicenza Trade Fair Board, and in 1991, he was appointed as the executive director.

Dr. Turcato is married with one daughter.
